The scaffolding has been removed. New grass has been
planted. Painting and carpet work is complete. Our renewed
Parish Center, housing the Parish Offices, the Religious
Education and Youth Ministry Offices and a totally remodeled
Stapleton Social Hall is completed.
Due to the generosity of many wonderful people including
parishioners, staff and contractors, this long planned
development for St. Aloysius Parish is now a reality to be used
by all. Our Parish Census now numbers over 2500 families.
Our Religious Education Program serves over 1100 children.
As a Parish we are called to bring God’s presence to our
community of New Canaan whenever and however we can
serve the Lord and proclaim the Gospel in word and deed.
Next weekend is an opportunity to give thanks to God for
His special presence in the Holy Eucharist. On the Feast of
Corpus Christi, the Body and Blood of Christ, we reflect upon
this gift of the unique Presence of God in our Church. We also
take the opportunity to thank God for the blessing of our Parish
Community which helps us to make Him known and present in
the life of our Parish and the community it serves.
Please come celebrate with your fellow parishioners either
on Saturday evening at the Annual Feast of St. Aloysius or on
Sunday afternoon during our special Mass at 11:30 followed by
an Open House in our Parish Center from 1 PM – 4 PM.
